Bringing EDF’s voice to life: FACTSTORY’s expertise in podcast production

A podcast that reflects EDF’s identity

When EDF approached FACTSTORY, their vision was clear: to create a high-end podcast embodying  their brand values while remaining engaging and accessible. Drawing inspiration from What Now with Trevor Noah, they sought a dynamic format with a cinematic visual identity—far beyond a simple audio recording. FACTSTORY was tasked with designing a branded podcast that could be replicated for multiple episodes, all while integrating a studio-like setup within EDF’s corporate space.

From concept to execution: Taylor-made production workflow

FACTSTORY played a key role in structuring and executing this project. Our team worked closely with EDF to refine the editorial vision, define the branding approach, and transform an internal space into a fully equipped recording studio. Through a series of strategic meetings, we aligned on the podcast’s structure, branding, and technical setup. Every detail—from set design to lighting—was carefully considered to ensure a professional and visually compelling result.

Seamless coordination 

With only 15 days to prepare, FACTSTORY implemented an efficient workflow to manage all aspects of production. The team orchestrated multi-camera filming, professional-grade audio recording, and post-production to deliver a polished final product. Real-time communication via debriefs and instant messaging ensured rapid adjustments and smooth execution, reinforcing FACTSTORY’s ability to handle high-stakes projects with precision.

Setting the standard for future productions

This first episode successfully laid the foundation for a new communication format within EDF. By providing an optimised workflow and technical expertise, FACTSTORY enabled the client to establish a scalable, high-quality podcast series. The project’s success reinforced EDF’s confidence in our ability to craft innovative corporate storytelling—delivered on time and beyond expectations.
