Council of Europe

One of the Council of Europe's tasks is to raise awareness of the fight against violence against women and domestic violence. The Istanbul Convention is an international treaty, the first legal instrument to bring the signatory states to anagreement on the elimination of all forms of violence against women. 

 

In order to highlight the direct impact of the Convention, our editorial and video specialists produced various reports in 4 European countries. We produced interviews with experts as well as portraits of those who benefit from the support provided by the Convention's schemes. 

 

Thanks to the short videos and the mini-documentary produced, the Council of Europe communicates with decision-makers in other potential signatory countries of the Convention as well as on social media in order to spread its message to as many people as possible.
